Depending on the tour you book. The Tekapo Canal is a 10-minute drive from the office.
The Tekapo River is situated 15 minutes drive from our office. Lake Tekapo fishing spots are located 20 minutes from our office. So more time for fishing!

Tim our local guide will take you to all the best fishing spots in Lake Tekapo and provide you with all the knowledge and skills to catch Salmon, Brown trout and rainbow trout. This overall experience is 2 hours long. 

No guarantees that you will catch a fish but we will try every trick in the book to try and hook one.

The scenery and nature around Tekapo are world-class where ever you. Along the lake edge, stunning canals and the Tekapo river. 

Our tours start at 9 am and run to 7 pm in the summer.

Most guided fishing tours go ahead as the fish keep biting in bad weather.

100% refund if the weather doesn’t allow us to go for health and safety reasons. You may cancel or re-schedule your booking up to 24 Hours before the scheduled departure time of your booking 

Guided fishing trips have a minimum age of 8 with an adult.

If the weather is very cold, we can supply warm jackets.

We have cell phone reception as well as emergency locator beacons. Our guide is competent with all emergency procedures.

We have a maximum of 4 guests on each tour to make sure it’s a personal experience.
